Meet Alison

I am a passionate local artist based in Glen Forrest, Western Australia, having previously lived in the UK, Queensland, and Zambia. Throughout my journey, each place I’ve called home has shaped and inspired my creative vision, allowing me to draw from the diverse and stunning natural environments I've encountered.

My work is a reflection of these experiences, capturing the beauty of the world around us in various forms and mediums.

I am as much at home capturing images from the bush around me as I am painting my imaginary shopfronts, charged with whimsical nostalgia.

As an artist, I am constantly exploring new techniques and approaches, which is reflected in the wide range of styles and mediums I use. Whether it’s through painting, drawing, or mixed media, my art evolves over time as I embrace new challenges and growth. Despite the demands of family life and a busy work schedule, my love for art remains unwavering. I often find myself working late into the night, in the quiet of my studio, where I can truly connect with my creative process.
